What is TriPeaks solitaire?
TriPeaks is one of the fastest, most addictive solitaire variants, built around chaining cards up and down the ranks as quickly as you can.
How TriPeaks works
TriPeaks deals 28 cards into three overlapping peaks above a waste pile. You clear any exposed peak card that's exactly one rank above or below the top waste card, and the sequence wraps around, so an Ace plays on a King and a King on an Ace. When you're stuck, draw a fresh card from the stock. Clear all three peaks to win.
Chaining for score
The fun is in the run. Each card cleared without drawing extends a chain, and longer chains score far more, so the skill is spotting the longest continuous ladder of ranks before you break it with a stock draw. It's a game of quick pattern recognition rather than deep planning, which makes it perfect for a short break.
A great casual pick
Because it's so fast and forgiving, TriPeaks is one of the games our beginner guide recommends for building confidence. If you enjoy it, the closely related Golf and Pyramid scratch the same matching itch.

What is Golf solitaire?
Golf solitaire is a quick matching game played across seven tableau columns. You remove any exposed card that's one rank above or below the current waste card, drawing from the stock when stuck. It's scored like golf: the fewer cards you leave behind, the lower and better your score.
What is Pyramid solitaire?
Pyramid is a matching solitaire played with a 28-card pyramid. You remove pairs of exposed cards that add up to 13, with Kings removed on their own. The goal is to clear the entire pyramid. Under strict rules it's tough, with only about 20% of deals winnable.
